| The Scottish Executive Fresh Talent scheme came into effect in June. The scheme is aimed at encouraging new |
| international graduates from Scottish universities and colleges to remain in Scotland and obtain work, hopefully |
| remaining here in the long term. |
The results of the first few months' applications have recently been published and students may like to see the details |
| of the origins of the successful applicants so far. In just five months, there were 586 successful applicants who came |
| from 57 countries around the world. |
